Its hard to believe we are now at #37. Time flies when you are reading and eating with friends. This edition of Books N Cooks was a Galley Match we received from Judy Gelman. FireProof by Chef Curtis Duffy. It is his memoir and what a life he has had.
The main takeaways from the memoir Fireproof: Memoir of a Chef by Curtis Duffy are the power of resilience, the role of culinary art as a form of redemption, and the lasting impact of mentorship. The book chronicles Duffy’s journey from a traumatic, violent childhood to becoming a world-renowned, Michelin-starred chef.
We decided to create a Menu that was “Cheffy”……you know something that looks and tastes like something a renowned chef would make.
