Book: A Second Hand Husband

Natalie is newly married to Carl after a whirlwind romance of only six months. He calls her up one day and tells her he bought them a cottage in Kent for their forever home. Although Natalie suggested they move to the country so Carl can live closer to his two children, she didn’t expect him to buy a home, without her ever seeing it, and less than a mile from his ex-wife! This story takes place in England, Kent to be specific.
Hang in there with this book, the characters are very well drawn and there are many twists and turns and some laughs too.
I hosted this club meeting and we had homemade Fish and Chips…..both the fish and the chips were homemade. My husband and one of our ladie’s husbands did the cooking. Fantastic….. it was very good. We also had a very refreshing salad. For appetizers there was a dip (shaped like Carl’s head) so we could dip in it and mess with him!!! For our beverage we had Pimms.
