May 2026
I finally can walk without the use of a cane or a walker. My first surgery for my hip replacement went horribly wrong so I had to have another surgery to get it corrected. I won’t bore you with details but all of 2025 I walked with my cane which we named “Eileen” (I lean) Anyway, so our granddaughter got the part of the Queen of hearts in her school play/musical and Babs and I wanted to go see her. I have to say that girl is TALENTED! We arrived in L.A. the night before and went to The Grove and the Farmers Market. What a blast!

The next day, before the performance we stopped and picked up some Roses for our Queen of Hearts then went over to her school to see the show. It was a musical and Roz stepped on that stage and owned it. She has a beautiful voice and stage prescence beyond magical.

The next day Nikki and Babs and I went on a nice walk around the neighborhood. We loved the jacaranda trees and architecture there. The Queen had to go back to school. But we took Kimchi, their adorable pooch.

We are looking forward to next spring…..who knows who she will be on stage then.
Break a leg baby girl, its only just the beginning. Very proud of you.
