Every so often we house and dog sit at our good friends house. They have a beautiful home with a lovely pool. It gets very hot in Northern California and it is a nice respite to stay at their resort.
Sometimes when we do stay there I invite some friends over for a fancy lunch and a refreshing dip. A Dip in the pool that is.
This year I made a Lemony Tortellini Soup with Spinach and Feta cheese and a very odd but delightful salad. Cherry and tomato salad with Quinoa and Pistachios.

So we, as dog owners, have many nicknames for our dogs. Such as:
Thelma – Telmer Fudd, Da Tel, Licky McMasterson
Louise – Wheezer, Da Wheeze, Louise Von Doozerhausen
Otis – Oatie McGoatee
Cooper – Coop the Poop
Jazzmine – Snotball (May she rest in peace) She crossed over the rainbow bridge last week at 15 Years old. We will miss her.
Well, there you have it some very cool and summery recipes and cute photos of the dogs. Until next time,
Bon Appetit or Bone Appetite
