I love a good Bloody Mary. What I really love is making an unbelievable Bloody Mary Bar. The recipe is easy. Mrs. T Bloody Mary Mix, Vodka and Tabasco Sauce.
One time I decided to make a Bloody Mary Bar for camping. We go with friends who have an RV but we tent camp alongside them. Our food and drinks are not your usual camping fare, it is GLAMPING style. I saw a bottle of Cilantro Vodka in a bar once and thought that that would be faboulous in a Bloody Mary, but I couldn’t find it anywhere. Enter Pinterest and all of its magical recipes. I found one. (check out the link at the bottom of this post) True to our Robinson style we had to make the bottle our own.
The secret to a great Bloody Mary is the feast of vegetables, shrimp and bacon that is ensconced inside. It’s not just for breakfast anymore!
In my Bloody Mary Bar I have mozzarella string cheese, shrimp, tomatoes, celery, lime and bacon. Sometimes I use cocktail onions and olives. As you can see in the next two photos (an indoor Bloody Mary Bar in New Mexico) I also used asparagus and green beans.
