When my Granddaughter was born I called her Rozzy. I tend to give people nicknames or more often than not just add a Y to their names. Her given name is Rozlin Kyra Wilson. Anyway, my daughter said “Oh no. You are not going to call her Rozzy!” Now she calls her that and just about everyone that knows her says “Rozzy” even Rozzy herself.
They live in Southern California and we live in Northern California. That in and of itself is not too bad because it is a six hour drive or a one hour plane ride. However, since the pandemic hit there is no travel whatsoever. We FaceTime a lot. Roz knows how to Face Time us all by herself. She is 4. She loves to have me take pictures of her up close and personal and I am only too happy to oblige.
